Activity Overview

This 1-hour activity reviews vaccine information statements, including their intended purpose, where to locate them, different ways to provide them, documenting the materials you provide, and the use of emergency use authorization fact sheets, particularly for COVID-19.

Learning Objectives 

• Demonstrate the appropriate use of vaccine information statements and where to locate these.

• Document method of providing vaccine information sheets and emergency use authorization fact sheets for all customers receiving vaccinations.

• Educate the public on where to find information regarding vaccinations, including both benefits and potential side-effects.

• Remain compliant with state laws regarding VIS and EUA sheets.

These materials can be found online without charge outside of the Powell Health immunization training program. These documents are supplementary to the Powell Health Immunization Training program and charges cover the processing of CE.
